On February 8 at the sports hall “Łuczniczka”, we will be able to witness the 8th edition of the International Athletics Meeting PEDRO'S CUP. The competition will take place in the three most popular in recent years track and field events in our country: women’s pole vault, men’s pole vault and men’s shot put.
This year, New Year's Eve outdoor event will be held in Fordon. For all those who choose to welcome the New Year in the square between Skarżyńskiego and Pelplińska Streets there will be concerts, hot musical hits and a fireworks show! Admission to the party is free.

The statues have been made by students of the Secondary School of Art from Bydgoszcz. On Thursday we will celebrate a joint Christmas Eve in the square.
On 1 January 2012 we will begin a project “Be Legal – amnesty for foreigners”. Foreigners who wish to legalise their stay in Poland will be required to submit an application form to the competent Voivodeship office. Applications will be accepted until 2 July 2012.

The International Muaythai Polish Cup 2011 and “Muaythai Against Drugs” festival were held in Bydgoszcz on November 19-20. For two days, participants from all over the country and Belarus were competing for this prestigious title in “Astoria” Sports Hall. Next Sunday, martial arts enthusiasts will have an opportunity to meet Ramon Dekkers - the legend of Muay Thai. The meeting will be organised by “Szkoła Walki Golden Dragon” Association.
“Innovative European Schools in the 21st Century” is a project realised by Integrated Junior High School no 38 (School Complex no 19) in Bydgoszcz. Today, a group of teachers from Austria, Greece, the Netherlands, Portugal and Turkey visited the City Hall.
