We know another star of Smooth Festival

The legendary Vaya Con Dios group will perform at Smooth Festival Złote Przeboje Bydgoszcz 2010.

The second edition of Smooth Festival will take place on May 22, 2010 in Mill Island. We already know names of two stars of the festival: Vaya Con Dios and Cesaria Evora – the famous music queen from Cape Verde.
During the press conference that was held on the 4th of February in the city hall there an agreement was signed between the City Hall of Bydgoszcz and the partners – co organisers of the project. Smooth Festival will be hosted in Bydgoszcz for at least another 3 years. The budget of the event is very impressive. The promotional campaign in all of Poland will cost about PLN 5 million!
- This year the stage will be probably in the same place. Mill Island will be presented more and the special smooth atmosphere will be created there – said Ewelina Krysia from SNAP EVENT.  – The island has a European, refined look, and the planed stage and area design will add to the effect – added Maciej Zieliński, from SONY BMG Poland.
- I am very happy that such a unique concert will be organised for the second time in our city. Not without reason Bydgoszcz is called a city of music – commented Mayor Konstanty Dombrowicz. Smooth Festival is addressed to a demanding, sophisticated audience, people who expect music to be meditative and reflective. The event on the island is a festival of good taste and positive emotions that constitute that artistic image of Bydgoszcz.
