Extension of the CWZS 'Zawisza' stadium at 163 Gdańska Street

Modernisation of the stadium is connected with the IAAF World Junior Championships that will take place in Bydgoszcz in 2008.

New stands were designed in accordance with the guidelines from IAAF, Polish Football Association, UEFA and FIFA. The building under the B stand will hold, besides other facilities, changing rooms, conference halls, a restaurant, offices, bathrooms and biological regeneration facilities.

In order to improve the visibility, during the modernisation the angle of the stands will be changed. More comfortable seats will be mounted. Installation of modern monitoring systems, alteration of access stairs, exit routes and gates will provide higher security level during sporting events.
