| Not only the city is worth getting to know, but also its closer and farther vicinity. Not many cities in Poland are situated upon two rivers and a canal, and Bydgoszcz has developed at the bottom of a dale, on a slope, as well as the height of a pravalley. The city, located in the Toruńsko-Bydgoska Dale, is surrounded by forests – to the North outwash plain of the Brda river coming down from Tucholska Plain to the Noteć – Warta Pravalley, Puszcza Bydgoska (Bydgoski Forest) to the South and South-East – an area of dunes and sands, covered with a pine forest. |
